YXIE-manoir des arts is a beautiful house imbued with art. Our room was very attractively decorated. The colours, the wooden floors, the unique objects, everything breathes France. When you walk through the house you will see paintings, photos and other art objects everywhere, collected with care. You will also find a nice collection of art books that you can browse through. The garden behind the house is beautiful and here you can really relax. All in all a beautiful location. During the day we visited Fontainebleau, a half-hour drive from the house. This is definitely recommended!

This is a really elegant place to stay. Our long holiday in Europe had too many plastic hotels and apartments and so the Manior des Arts was a very welcome break in every sense

We had a fantastic stay here! Kees and Moos are a very good host and hostess. The rooms are authentically furnished, attractive, beautiful, very clean and you really feel like you are in a different world. Exactly what you hope for when you go on vacation. We were looking for a special place to retreat and we succeeded here. The rooms do not have a television (something we really appreciate because it is charming) but they do have excellent WiFi! The breakfast is really delicious! Freshly boiled eggs, coffee, cappuccino, fresh bread from the bakery and croissants in a beautiful atmospheric breakfast room with attention for the guests. In the evening we drank wine in the garden on the rocking chair. The garden is also beautiful and chickens roam around. Singer Alida sang songs during the tea garden moment on Sunday. Very nice!

We will definitely come here again.
Thanks for all the good care!

We went on a study trip with 21 students with the Artist Theater course of the Friesland College. We had a fantastic week with a diverse and well thought-out program around theatre, music and visual arts. Moos and Kees are very hospitable, we were warmly welcomed and the chateau is a beautiful place. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfast was superb. From Villeblevin, a trip to Paris is done in no time. In short: we would like to come back next year!

The stay at YXIE - manoir des arts is indescribable. You have to experience it, experience it, experience it. What a beautiful place, in a beautiful setting with the tastiest breakfasts. Lieve Kees and Moos are fantastic people who take good care of everything and think about every detail. A place to return to soon, and it will! The place, the rooms and the atmosphere are so cinematic that we decided to shoot a short film there this summer. I look forward.

Kees and Moos are very cordial people who ensure that you as a guest will not be short of anything. The rooms are all furnished in the grandeur of yesteryear, matching the chateau, so that you can literally sleep like a king. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy the French countryside and/or stay a short distance from Paris.
